On February 2, we’re upgrading the Family Portal to Discover Champions, where you can enroll, adjust schedules, and make payments in one place.
What to Do Before January 21
To keep everything smooth during the transition, please:
- Update your child’s schedule through February 6.
- Make sure all payments are up to date.
- Download any invoices or tax statements you need.
These steps help us keep billing accurate and help you avoid late or drop-in fees after we move to the new portal.

What’s New and What to Know
As we transition schedules and billing to Discover Champions, here are a few key updates to keep in mind:
- You now have Autopay! You are automatically enrolled, so making weekly tuition payments is simple and seamless.
- Weekly schedules are due by Wednesday. Be sure to finalize your child’s schedule for the upcoming week by Wednesday. Need to add a day after that? Reach out to your site director. Extra days depend on availability and include a drop-in fee.
- Savings may be available. Some families may qualify for tuition support or discounts. Before you enroll, talk to your site director to learn what you may be eligible for and to receive any discount codes or authorization numbers needed during registration.
- Avoid late fees. A $5 fee per child, per invoice will apply if an Autopay transaction doesn’t go through.

Important Dates and What to Expect
By Jan. 21
Confirm your child’s schedule through Feb. 6.
Starting Jan. 26
The Family Portal will be unavailable as we update our systems. During this time, you will not be able to enroll, adjust your schedules, or make payments.
- Need a tax statement? Email ChampionsHelp@KC-Education.com with the year(s) needed, child name(s), primary account holder’s full name, and summary or detailed request. Allow up to 72 business hours.
Starting Jan. 30
Enrolled families will receive an activation email with instructions. If it doesn’t appear in your inbox, check spam or contact your site director.
Then you can:
- Activate your account and create your password.
- Confirm information and add your payment method.
- Set up your Autopay settings.
- Complete digital enrollment forms.
- Make a one-time payment for the week of Feb. 2–6, 2026. This is separate from Autopay.
You’ll also get a 4-digit PIN—keep this handy. You’ll use it for daily check-in and check-out using the Discover Champions app.

Families on a waitlist will be added to Discover Champions during the transition. If you have questions, your site director can help.

Billing and Payments
Here’s how weekly billing works:
- Wednesday: The last day to make schedule changes for the upcoming week. Days added after Wednesday include a drop-in fee and depend on availability.
- Thursday: You’ll receive your invoice for the upcoming week’s care.
- Monday: Autopay processes your payment for that week.
- Wednesday: A $5 late fee per child, per invoice applies if payments don't go through.
Keeping your account up to date helps secure your child’s spot and makes sure your care continues without interruption.
